One of the best things about participating in the CAPA Marquee Awards is the opportunity to participate in professional theatre education activities throughout the year!
We are on SUMMER BREAK! Check back with us in August when we roll out our 26-27 master class and workshop opportunities! In the meantime, we encourage you to sign up for our email list so you will be the first to know when class sign ups become available.
Broadway Master Classes
We will be holding FREE master classes for several of the Broadway in Columbus productions this season. All participating CAPA Marquee Awards schools will have the opportunity to sign up students for available slots.
Please note: All Broadway master classes are subject to the tour’s availability and therefore, are subject to change.
Workshops
In addition to working with Broadway touring artists, we are also holding a series of workshops with professional, local artists throughout the year.
MARQUEE MIXER!
Join us at the Ohio Theatre and get to know some of your fellow CAPA Marquee Awards participants! Whether you are a new member or a familiar face, this is a perfect way to relax, enjoy good company, and gear into the next incredible season of High School Theatre together! This event includes food, activities, and a raffle for some Broadway swag!
IMPORTANT:
- Slots for this event are ONLY open to High School students from participating 2026-2027 CAPA Marquee Schools.Â
- There is no limit on the number of students that can register from each school. Slots are limited and are first-come, first-served.
SIGN UP TIMELINE:
- Sign-ups open: Friday, September 25Â at 4pm
- Sign-ups close: Wednesday, October 14 at 8pm
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
- To participate, you MUST complete BOTH the 26-27Â Emergency Medical Release Form and the 26-27Â Media Release Form. These will need to be signed by you and by your parent/guardian to participate in the event. Without this form, you WILL NOT be permitted to participate in the event.
