Broadway Master Classes

We will be holding FREE master classes for several of the Broadway in Columbus productions this season. All participating CAPA Marquee Awards schools will have the opportunity to sign up students for available slots.

Please note: All Broadway master classes are subject to the tour’s availability and therefore, are subject to change.

MJ THE MUSICAL MASTER CLASS

Join us for our first Broadway master class of the season featuring the national tour of MJ The Musical. We are excited to welcome MJ The Musical dance supervisor, Justin Prescott! He will be teaching your choreography from the show followed by a Q&A!

Thursday, September 12, 4-5:30pm

PREPARATION:

You should bring a bottle of water and the appropriate clothing for musical theatre choreography including closed-toed and closed-heeled shoes.

LOCATION:

Ohio Theatre, Room 1

REGISTRATION:

For this class, ALL SLOTS will be open to ANY current high school student who resides in any of our eligible CAPA Marquee Awards counties. Those counties include Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Hocking, Knox, Licking, Madison, Perry, Pickaway, Ross, and Union. Slots are limited and are first-come, first-served.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION:

To participate in this workshop, you MUST submit the online 24-25 CMA Media Release Form and the 24-25 CMA Emergency Medical Form.  Both forms must be signed by both you and your parent/guardian. Your registration will not be considered complete until you have signed up for a master class slot and submitted these forms.

ALL SPOTS ARE FILLED! You may grab a spot on the waiting list. If someone cannot attend and removes their spot, you will be notified via email and added to the class.
